About me

What is this blog about:
I’m a 31 year old Mom of 2 and Army wife, with a huge appetite that has always struggled with her weight. 
As a young girl I never cared for calories or checking fat in foods, I never worked out, I was completely focused on my career.  By my graduation date… that lovely dress I always dreamed of having almost didn’t fit…I couldn’t even breathe with it.
By January 2005 I took the decision of taking care of myself, I was aware of what I was eating and started an exercise routine which helped me loose about 30lbs in one year.  Since then, I take care of the food and I make sure I work out few times a week.
 This past year I felt for food again, I cooked all those yummy recipes you find here and there and gained 15lbs that I want to get rid of again, and try to stick to a healthy diet that doesn’t mean to not eat, but eating it healthier.
This blog is about transforming those super good recipes into a light version and trying to keep the yummy flavors!
